Buy discounted gifts, help out a food bank
A local food bank is offering a ray of hope for families struggling to buy Christmas presents this year. The Volunteer Way is sponsoring a pre-Christmas fundraiser sale of 3,000 new items that have been donated to the food bank. Items for sale at discounted prices include toys, kitchenware, watches and household items. The sale will be from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the food bank, 7820 Congress St. All money collected from the sale will benefit the food bank
