Deba Uwadiae, says there are lots of business ventures that can be sited within an airport and its surrounding.
He, however, notes that not many people are aware of this despite the growing rate of unemployment in the country.
Uwadiae says that because shops located either at the arrival, departure or waiting lounge help create excitement and good moods for passengers, airport authorities and governments often welcome requests for space renting .
Some of the businesses that can be sited at these lounges, according to the Business Travels boss include game centres, barbing saloon, gifts shops, shops where items such as socks, combs, toiletries, shoes, wrist watches, shirts, hand sets, phone chargers are sold.
He further says that because the airport is a travel environment, prospective shop owners should think of things that passengers will need.
He listed other items that can be sold at airports to include bags, shoes and fast foods
