Baker has been running Collector's Corner for almost 20 years, and in his time in Georgetown he's seen a lot of people come through buying, selling and pawning various items. His interest in the acquisition and sales of antiques has long been an interest of his, he said, stretching back to the days before he owned his shop.
'I used to set up a lot at flea markets,' he said. 'But I really liked what I was doing, and I wanted to do it full time. I used to go running around to auctions, buying up antiques, anything I thought was good. When I came to Georgetown, it was the antiques that I had that I started with.'
