Governor's Academy Fine Crafts Faire
The annual Governor's Academy Fine Crafts Faire continues today and tomorrow from 10 a.m, to 4 p.m. in the Remis Gallery of The Performing Arts Center on Elm Street in Byfield.
Formerly known as the Three Potters and Others Fair, the Fine Crafts Faire features the talents of 15 local and regional artisans. Painted furniture, pottery, photography, jewelry, paintings, wearable fiber arts, handbags, hand-turned wood objects, clocks, kaleidoscopes, mobiles and more will be on display and for sale.
Participating artists are, from Newburyport, Ingrid Regina, hand-painted furniture; Pam Farren, clocks; and Kay Bice, photography; from Beverly, Judy Klein, jewelry from recycled metal, and Pat Mulhoney, decoupage puzzles; from Ipswich, Meredith Toumayan, knitted items; Suzi Van Ness, kaleidoscopes and mobiles; Irina Okula, pottery; and John Holt Moore, hand-turned wood bowls; Dottie Bragdon of Exeter, N.H., pottery; Teaya Fitzgerald of Maine, pottery; Chris Kasila of Plaistow, N.H., watches; Lorraine Ott of Boxford, pottery; Jen Flores of Medford, wearable art; and Sisters in Stitches of Boston, quilting.
