Two tires were taken from a customer's vehicle and three tires were taken from a fenced-in area along the premises, police said.
Leon Joshua Blackwell, 40, of 1458 Chicago Ave., Evanston, was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 16 on a felony retail theft charge stemming from an incident the morning of Oct. 10 in Macy's at the Old Orchard mall. Police said Blackwell, a Macy's employee, tried to leave the store without paying for seven watches. The watches were in a bag to be returned to their manufacturers for repairs or refunds, police said. Blackwell said he intended to repair the watches and sell them, police said.

The artist says New Yorkers care about their pets more than they care about art and exhibited the pets instead.

Mr Atkins said: Well, he's pretty strong, but I try and sneak up when he's watching and you know, replace his beer cans. As long as he's got his beer and his cigarettes, he's happy, like any man
